We've completed over a kilometer of track maintenance for the National Trust in the Peak District recently. The track had deteriorated to a state making it barely passable with a Land Rover. The track is used as access for the Trust, farmers and gamekeepers and provides a valuable route on to the moors to carry out habitat management as well as access for fire fighting. We've recently carried out a few little jobs at Hardcastle Crags continuing from the large footpath projects we did earlier in the year. We've carried out some stone pitching using stones that have been found on site. People have enjoyed walking and other leisure activities at Hardcastle Crags for many years so its nice to know that these works will help continue this for many years to come.
