Working for National Trust Hardcastle Crags we undertook some work to help with a flood alleviation project. Hebden Bridge suffers a great deal with flooding and as part of a bigger picture the environment agency are carrying out projects to help slow the flow of water into the river Calder. We felled timber across the site to form wet areas and create boggy patches in addition to blocking streams for the water to pool behind.
