Many will have known the quagmire of a path up to Brown Knoll on the Edale skyline and many were observed succumbing to the peaty depths whilst we were constructing this 2.9km flagged path. We were commissioned by Moors for the Future to organise the preparation and airlifting and laying of approximately 1500tons of stone flags to build the new path. All the work was done by hand to prevent damage to the fragile habitat.
